Least Resistance

The Path of Least Resistance:

  • Give up

  • Quit

  • Say no

  • Hide

  • Run away

  • Sigh, sulk, bury your head in the sand

This is how we stay stuck.

We choose this path because it is the easy way — but in the long run, hard — to avoid the uncomfortable feelings of areas where we are not yet fully healed.

The first step of any true healing process requires us to feel the pain of our wound, and before that to know that the wound even exists. This step always hurts — can even make us sick.

However, then and only then, do options open up for resolution, leading to our personal and collective evolution.

To feel your own pain means to take the Path of Resistance and:

  • Dig in

  • Keep going

  • Say yes

  • Show up

  • Turn towards

  • And most importantly, stand up after every fall

It is the hardest, easiest path to take and the one we are all being ushered towards now.

Courage is required.
