Pledge Allegiance to Truth

(This week: Venus conjunct Neptune, Sun conjunct Saturn, Sun enters Pisces.)

The rain is coming and we know that, “rain washes away all the other colors,” as Meerabai, the poet, beautifully put it.

Covid-19 has been like a dress rehearsal for greater things to come, and will seem small in comparison. Read the latest IPCC reports (ipcc.ch) if this sounds like hearsay.

Do not be alarmed. Be alert, but don’t be alarmed.

Those who cling to the way things ought to be or were, will become afraid — very, afraid — to the point of becoming dangerous, as the drowning victim is to the lifeguard.

If we are to come through unscathed and not even unscathed, but cleansed and purified — we must start to question our allegiances. Is our allegiance to state? Personage? Work? If so, we will cling and if we cling, we will stretch either until we let go, or…

There is no religion higher than truth.

This was the motto of Theosophists and it gives us much more than a clue as to where our allegiance naturally resides — with truth.

Truth is found inside. It is what your deepest feelings and higher knowing communicates — and it can and quite likely will be at odds with the very much in trouble status quo.

During this time, you could be called to make seemingly difficult decisions. Perhaps to leave a relationship, leave a job, leave a residence, and head in the direction you somehow know you need to head in.

It takes tremendous courage to act on truth in a climate where truth is seen as an enemy of sorts.

Courage of the sort, increasingly, will become a survival trait.

It’s time to wake up my friends. Wipe your eyes clean. And get to work.

There is no religion higher than truth because love is in charge. Don’t forget that.

Listen very carefully — takes notes if you want — to your out of the blue inspirations, and where your inner compass is pointing.

Suggested Use: Have pen and paper ready. Read this post once. Then read again, a little more slowly. Pause. Reflect. Journal any connections or intentions that come to you. Come back a few days later, and read again. Repeat. Only take what resonates. Leave the rest behind, and kindly share if you feel another could be benefited.
