Nothing Else Will Do

Security and spirituality are at, one and the same time, utterly opposed and thoroughly connected.

The path of spirituality — that is, the learning phase — must require you to walk a tight rope. Further off in front of you is the goal of total liberation. On either side, total destruction and beneath your feet, the narrowest, most harrowing of pathways.

How else can your character be refined in order to accept the highest frequencies of consciousness other than by facing the constant threat of demise, and repeatedly encountering your deepest and darkest fears?

It’s necessary. Necessary to build trust. Necessary to perfect your art of living. And necessary to squash out every last thought form of separation that pits you against the world.

Never does one feel secure walking such a path but you know you must carry on, not look back, nor feel tempted to return survival consciousness where you alone are responsible for your wellbeing.

You must learn security in the absence of security in order to be truly secure.

Spirituality gets you there, eventually. It’s called seeking the sustainable.

Because nothing else will do.
