What A Wonderful World

(Happy Poonam. πŸŒ•)

Anything that comes, stays for awhile, then melts away can be cause for suffering, and often is.

Rich and poor differ by degree β€” not kind. Rich live in fear of loss, while poor live in fear of their loss. Each suffer in their own way.

No experience this world has to offer lasts forever. This truism is both the key to our pain and the key to our liberation and Joy beyond joy.

We get hip to this game after awhile. We tire of the drama. We tire of investing in impermanence.

We start seeking the Real.

All this means is casting away the unreal. And that is a process. A long, steady, β€œuphill” climb β€” away from density and into lighter stratospheres of existence.

The yogi steeped in this understanding, smiles at adversity and smiles at pleasurable experience. All the while, remaining centered in her heart, with eyes closed, head slightly bowed. Remaining still.

She knows each has been gifted β€” or pre-sent β€” to help her to become less dense.

We experience diverse emotion until our work reaches its culmination. Nothing is left inside to affect us.

We love everything. See everything as the same. See nothing as not beautiful.

And a causeless, permanent smile fixes itself upon our lips.

We rest, knowing our liberation from suffering is so that another may find the same. It’s not for us (in the strictest sense).

What a wonderful it is.
