Fresh Start

(Venus conjoins the Sun in Leo, New Moon in Leo.)

This body and this life, they are gifts to love one another, serve the truth, and defend eternal values.

What are you committed to?

Have you made commitments? Or are you buzzing around from this to that?

Yoga (the process of self-realization) and the fruit of sadhana (spiritual practice) — that’s what we’re here for. Every one of us. Where we differ is the knowledge of this choice and the velocity of the path traveled.

We’re here to know ourselves.

And to do so, we must first unknow ourselves. That means to get mixed up, messed up, take wrong turns, make disastrous mistakes, to then turn towards the real.

It’s gritty business. Uncomfortable. Intolerable at certain points. Yet, the aspirant continues on because she knows that the challenges are the stepping stones. They grind away the dirt.

You’ve got to have dirt. You’ve got to have hurt. Without these things, there can be no true knowledge of who and what you are, and why you are here.

A major chapter has come to conclusion. Years or decades old content comes to rest. We forgive it, we forgive ourselves, and we forgive all the actors and actresses who played their part.

With gratitude, we bow to the past and point our awareness to the horizon. What do you want?

With a clean slate, what now to work towards? That is your choice as an artist.

The more we let go of who we are not, which is the work of all spiritual traditions, the more we meet our unvarnished self, which is full of creativity and joy.

It’s time, friends, to write a new script. Listen to your heart and let love be your guide.

Nothing is ever wrong. 🙏🏻
