Give Yourself a Break

(Venus meets the Black Moon, “Lilith,” and squares Uranus.)

As if world events, technology, and news reporting thereof was not enough to keep up with, we also have deeply cathartic and catalytic change and transformation occurring in ourselves, and so collectively.

Who among us does not feel overwhelmed? Anxious? Perhaps burned out. We wonder what to do to fix the situation.

Not only can the situation not be fixed, it really can’t be stopped either, no more than you can make the weather stop doing what it does.

It is all a challenge to the personal will, or the ego — the “I thought.”

Mindfulness or spiritual practices now are a must. Information, like this, can help to understand and contextualize that everything is as it should be. However, information alone does not soothe a churning nervous system and evolving being.

That’s where meditation helps. Prayer. Ritual. Ceremony. And even these things during peak times of intensity can be overwhelming and cause for further stirring of the pot.

You are invited to stop.

Take a break from it all. Let go of the steering wheel, which is anyways on auto-pilot. Sit back, relax, and allow things to unfold without your inputs and schemes.

Just be. Take a mindful vacation from it all.

While the current of world events and news will not stop – nature operates according to periods of activity and periods of rest. Your limits are known and will be respected.

Rest, friends, your beautiful selves, your processing mind, and let it all be as it is. 🙏🏻
