Your Way Through

Evolutionary cycles are marked by the death of the old and no longer relevant and the birth of new ways.

It is a figurative death more than an actual one, though not necessarily.

Collectively, we are being squeezed and put to the test. Mostly this is an internal process, which will reflect externally as various challenges and difficulties. That is not where we want to place our focus — fixing the outside without a corresponding internal adjustment creates a temporary solution only.

An entire age and way of being is in its death throes. We may even feel an instinct to survive, caused by confusion and wondering just what in the world is going on. What was working only just a few weeks ago could now seem outdated.

Layers are being stripped away.

Layers of conditioned ways of being are being stripped away. It’s a painful, uncomfortable process that will challenge you to upgrade yourself and get with the times.

Many will fold under the pressure and get stuck in cyclical fear responses.

Pain pushes us to remember. Pain pushes us to change. That’s the upside to it. Ask any athlete or elite performer.

Your ticket to survival and thriving during this time is to surrender to what is being asked of you, whatever that is.

Up your game. Be excellent. Be impeccable in thought, word, and action. Most of all, be authentic.

Follow what makes you come alive and what brings you joy. Share around these areas fearlessly and vulnerably.

In this way, we become more human in an increasingly less human world. Remember, what is rare is valuable.

Let your light shine. Most of us are used to dimming it — that was the ethos of the Industrial Age. Do what you’re told. Don’t make a ruckus. Obey. Respect authority.

All of that is over. If you follow these tenets, you will not survive.

It is the time of the artist. The time of the spiritual aspirant. And it’s time to come out of your various corners and let the world know what you are made of.

It’s going to feel strange and uncomfortable. It was cosy in your den of comfort and obscurity.

Look who’s running the world, and what they’re about to do.

Are you OK with that? 🙏🏻
