Step Into the Sun
(As Above: Mercury retrograde. Mars to go direct in Gemini.)
While flying through turbulence, the captain will let you know.
You must buckle your safety belt. And, most importantly, remain calm. (No plane has ever crashed due to turbulence alone.)
The vibrations send shock waves through the nervous system and trigger scary “what if” scenarios.
In a way, you must captain yourself while trusting the trained pilot who is already making adjustments, typically by adjusting her altitude.
You drop your shoulders. Close your eyes. Focus on your breathing. You tell yourself the captain knows what she’s doing, the situation is not dangerous despite feeling that way, and that you will eventually smooth out.
Earthly triggers are no different.
Less skillful responses involve anger, various forms of violence, “pushing” behavior, shouting, and a total missed opportunity for connection and learning.
More skillful responses involve calm, patience, making hard to swallow internal adjustments, listening and understanding, and having the humility to know you are not out of the woods yet — and that that is OK.
You are perfect as you are. Judgment and “shoulds” only come in human form.
Nature wants to see you blossom and will constantly and continually point out and trigger the areas obstructing your free flowing and beautiful expression.
Step into the sun.
